My goal for how many books I read this year is 250. Myabe if you don't have a certain number in mind, what series are you going to start and finish? Is there a certain book that you really want to read but haven't gotten around to yet? I want to read the Lilian Jackson Braun series from start to finish.

My main goal for this year is to read ATLAS SHRUGGED by Ayn Rand. The edition I have is over 1,000 pages with about a 4 point font.  I had planned to begin it January 1, but............  Trying to read a few WLed books to build credits for my own WL. Then I will tackle AS.

I'm doing the 999 challenge in the Paranormal forum and the 2009 Reading challeng in the games forum. I tried for 101 books last year and didn't make it. This year I'm trying again. So far I'm on track but with summer coming I don't know how I'll do. Plus I've been reading a lot of YA which helps with the book count.

I never have a number goal in mind, but this year I'm a member of a challenge group called "read your own books" in which you try to tackle a bunch of books you have on your shelves rather than acquiring new or from other sources. My goal is to read 150 from my own shelf. We shall see! I'm up to about 30 so far.

My goal this year is six books a month or 72 for the year...so far so good. If I try to do more than that my husband might leave me for someone who doesn't always have their nose stuck in a book! Mainly that's the goal I set because at the beginning of the year that's how many books were on my TBR list - of course I've added a bunch of new ones since then.

Uh, I've read nineteen books since the first of January but that is on top of a fulltime plus (17 credit hours) college schedule.  ACK.

I never have a number in mind and I will be burning through books come summer so I'm figuring I'll get through 100 books.  Maybe more.  Who knows?!

I am looking at a stack (or four) of about 60 books and that doesn't include the stack of 40 or so that is next to my bed.  I think I'll be busy for a while.

My goal this year is five books a month or 60 for the year...last year I said I'd read 100 and I did not quite make it. So this year I decided to make a more realistic goal.

I average 3 books a week, so I guess that would be about 150 books. I never count, but I have 120 on my TBR stack. I have the entire series of Catherine Coulter and one by Carol O'Connell that I want to read this year. Both are about a dozen books.

My  goal is to read 12 books this year. No speed reading and literary binging and purging allowed anymore. No more fast-food lit drive-thru. I've vowed this year to stop and smell (appreciate) the proses.

Yep, just a measley 12 books of various genres--whatever suits my fancy for the month. If it takes longer than a month to read, that's okay. If I find a book to be plotless or a bore in general, I give myself permission to quit reading it.

While this isn't English class, I'd like to ponder a book longer than the usual five minutes I  typically give at book at the end. At the very least, I want to figure out what the theme or message the author conveys.

I dunno, maybe it's just a phase.

I would like to get at least 20 read.  I am a very busy SAHM with little free time so if I can that many in I will be doing good.  So far I think I have 5 done so I am doing okay for me.

I usually read 50 to 75 books a year and so far this year, I'm on pace to reach that.  I don't worry about hitting a specific number because I read every single day already so I'll just take what I get and enjoy it.

If i start counting now, cause i can't even remember how many I've read this year, I bet I'll get to 100. I just devour books.
