I've read 168, all acquired through PBS., mostly literary fiction and memoirs, some music, art, and science.

WOW, 154 for me.  Didn't know I'd read that many! Thanks for having me look!  LOL

I really have no idea - but a lot.  Probably over 300.  I read every day and I read a lot.  One of my goals for this year is to keep track of every book I read.

187, which is down from the previous two years for me, but I'm happy with that total...I was busier with "other stuff" this year than I had been previously. I don't set goals, just read when I want to and have time.

Jeepers...You guys make me look like a slug at a mere 94.  Layne, it is fun to keep track.  I have a little spiral book that record mine in...even those I quit because they were dull / too many characters / too ambitious / not ambitious enough / supposed to be funny and weren't.  I even enjoy browsing through the book from time to time.  Hey..that's one more book read!

I read 210, but I doubt I'll read that many this year.

I read 186, which is down from the over 200 I read last year. Life just got in the way this year. I love keeping a book journal, it is so fun to look back.

So, ya'll actually write it down in a notebook which books you read?  I just go by my BIR list on my account.  I figure that is the best way for me to keep track of stuff, cuz if I post a book I haven't read, I just uncheck that little box when posting...keeps it accurate.  I would forget to write it in a notebook...just one more thing to keep track of.  This way, PBS tracks it for me!

i read about 5 books last year.

that's something i'm definately going to change this year.

I read 112 books last year.  I am going for 120 this year...that is just 10 a month so I think I should be able to do that.

I read 61 in 2007 and 96 in 2006.  Seems like I read so many more. I'm just going to start #2 for 2008.

Wow!  I was thrilled to read 130 and break my record from 2006, but I ain't got nuthin' on you all!

I keep a book journal-a page for each month.  I write the title, author, and a star rating for each book.  It's fun to look back and see what I read! 

Hope to break my 2007 record.  I'm on my 4th book for Jan. 2008 so it's looking good! 

Not sure how many the first half of the year - I'd guess around 30, but WOW - since joining PBS in August I've read 50+ books - I think PBS motivates readers!!! 

I love the BIR list for keeping track, but think I'll revive my woefully out-of-date journal, or something to help me remember when I'm in a bookstore, and I see a book by my favorite author, discounted, and I buy it, that I already have a copy, unread, waiting for me at home.  :)   

Anyone have a way of solving this problem???  Short of a PDA/organizer?

I read 66 in 2007. I'm hoping to do better than that this year. I'm already on my 3rd book this month, so hopefully it won't be too hard to do.

i did not keep track of mine last year but i will this year. I am hoping to at least hit 100.
