Does anyone know of a good "How To" Catholicism book for small children? I wasn't raised a Catholic and I need some help teaching my 2 and 5 year old the basics. Any suggestions please? |

Not "how to" books, but lots of Catholic information.....here's my post from the book bazaar:
Not sure that you'll get them in time for Easter, but if you order by 3:00 EST, it will go out in today's mail. Sending to an out of town family member or friend? I'll wrap them up for you and enclose a note card. They'd also make nice First Communion gifts, or gifts to celebrate a good "report card" for CCD, end of year CCD gifts, etc. These are all brand new and the rest on my shelf are either new or in very good condition:
The Apostles of Jesus The Parables of Jesus Great Women of the Bible Great Men of the New Testament The Works of Mercy Saint Patrick The Seven Sacraments Scriptural Rosary for Children The Feasts of Jesus Book of Saints Part 1 The Way of the Cross for Children
I would also recommend the Alice in Bibleland books for that age group. |

Shannon, I'm going to think about your question concerning books. I'm a convert, too, with five kids. I've found that playing Catholic children's CD's at night when they go to bed helps a lot. Also, talking to them during the day about different teachings works. Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Maybe I can find an answer. : ) |
