I do a lot of deals with people through the book Bazaar and usaully try to order more than one book from each person I order from; so I often look at individual bookshelves for books I'm looking for. I have two suggestions/hopes that would make individual bookshelves easier to search for those of us that look for deals or want to order more books from the same person's bookshelf that we've already placed an order with.
How do I suggest these to PBS and find out if they would be willing to implement these changes? |

At the bottom of every page there is a Contact Us link. Under Company. (The Live Help just gets you to a Tour Guide. Which is not the place to make suggestions.) |

This tip hasn't been mentioned in a while, so I will throw it out there in case the OP hasn't seen it. When searching someone's Bookshelf, set the dropdown box to show 50 at a time. Then type ctrl-F. In most browsers, you will get a pop-up window to input a search string. Put in Reminder. It will search that page for the word Reminder, and show you anything on that page that is on your RL. If it doesn't find the word, hit Cancel, advance to the next page of 50 books and hit ctrl-F again. This is not as handy as the feature the OP described (which would be WONDERFUL!!) but it is better than manually scrolling through each page of books. As for the second suggestion, when you are on the Order More From Member page, at the top of it , you can click on their username and go to their regular bookshelf page from there. Then do the same thing as above to find anything else on their bookshelf you want. You can then order it from their bookshelf and the system will automatically combine it with your previous order, or you can go back through Order More From Member to order it. |

You can also search boxer shelves without being a Boxer. Granted not everyone is a boxer so it's a limited search. But I've done this before when searchign for multiple books by an author or in a series. Several times I've been able to just order more than 1 from a boxer saving them postage and saving me from having to wait for requests to time out or make several different orders. |

Christa....Thank you, thank you for that clever little tidbit. I never knew that ctrl-F search string shortcut. How handy is that! |

Thanks for the great tip, Christa! Although it seems "obvious" now that you've brought it up, this is not a feature I had thought about using for this purpose. The ctrl-F find can also be extended, or course, to winnowing down long lists that may result when doing broad searches using the PBS Search tool.

I can't take credit for that little tip. I learned it right here on this forum from another helpful member. :) |
