I was checking my privacy settings when I saw this link and checked it out.  It has everything in the library system broken down into topic detail categories. I don't know how this works - is it an email or just a list you can click on to see? I'm really interested to find out because it could really help in knowing what kinds/titles of books are most wished for day by day.

It is a wonderful and free service here at PBS. Here is how the Help Center describes it. Have a great week.

The Daily Wish List is a summary of items added to the Club Wish List in the previous 24 hours. It arrives in an email every day to your inbox, and contains a link to the books newly wished-for in the genres you have preselected when you subscribed. The Daily Wish List is a free email subscription feature at PBS; you can subscribe in your Account Settings.

If you would like to receive an email digest of the books (in genres you preselect) newly Posted to the database every day, you can do this by subscribing to the Daily Digest.

Why subscribe to the Daily Wish List?

  • Members like to use the Daily Wish List to see what others in the club are wishing for:
    • to give them ideas for books they might want to Wish List themselves,
    • to notify them if a book they own (but have not posted yet) is wished for
  • This is the ONLY way to view recent additions to the Club Wish List in multiple genres at once
    • There is no link to the Daily Wish List on the site
    • If you lose or delete the email, you can get to a copy of it in your Club Communications folder in My Account

Thank you, Margaret!  It does seem like a wonderful feature especially if you're looking for some WL to post.  I think I'm going to subscribe - maybe it will help me get more WL - although my TBR is very high already.  I'm just tired of buying credits to get books.  And DH is unhappy that I'm getting all these books and not mailing out any!!  Seems like it would help if I were going to an FOL sale or thrift shop, too.

I like the Daily Wish List as a way to decide what to read next.  If the book is wl'd today I can check to see how many people are looking for that book on the Club Wish List.  It's helped me pick a book from my TBR pile.

I subscribe to it...I don't check it all that often, but if you click on the link the e-mail once and then bookmark it, you don't have to open that e-mail every day. While there is no link to it on the site itself, the bookmark does work from day to day as long as you stay subscribed to it--if you unsubscribe, the link won't work anymore. So now i just delete the e-mail unread and use my bookmark when I want to check it out.

I look at it more to see if there's new books I don't know about yet by favorite authors that I want to wishlist. :)

Where is it?  I don't see any reference to it on my settings page...(but I'm still working on my first cup of coffee).

I'm a new user to this site (joined last year, just posted my first books last month) and found just found this thread yesterday. I signed up for the Daily Wish List, but must have set my parameters a little too wide because my DWL for today has 5153 entries! I must refine my search terms!

Christine - go to the settings tab at the top of the header of your account page.  When you click on that a new page appears and there is a bar in yellow just below the top tabs.  In the yellow are several links in blue and one is Daily Wish List.  Hope this helps.
