after i posted it, i noticed that "non-fiction" category i selected defaulted to "automotive" as sub-category.  can't seem to find how to do this.  thanks.

To the right under More Options where the option to add a book to your WL or add a note is: click on more options and it should bring up Edit Book Data. 

should "submit edit" immediately take effect, because I did this, and reopened the bookshelf, and don't see any of my corrections...

If it's a non-ISBN book, you could just de-list it and re-list it with the correct information.  It's going to be the only one listed so you won't lose your spot.

Evan - the queue was cleared this morning so check the book and see if the changes were made.  They may still be pending as there were 400-500 edits in the queue.  Many busy people! :-)
