I got a request for one of my books, but the request has conditions. I'm looking to contact the requestor about the condition of my book to verify they still want it, but I don't see a link to PM them. Did I miss this link somewhere?

Perhaps I'll just say I can't send the book to be on the safe side.

You can't PM the person until you accept unless they have their nickname listed in the requestor conditions. If the conditions aren't worded clearly enough so that I know my book does or doesn't meet them, I will decline.

I tend to err on the side of caution, like Cheryl, and decline. However, when you do so you have to fill out the little box that says why you are declining. This info is sent to the requester via e-mail, I think. (At least, I have gotten a couple of e-mails like this, but it may only be for wish list books.) You can fill out the box to indicate the condition of your book. For example: "I'm not sure this meets the requester conditions since there is some wear on the cover." If the requester doesn't have a problem with the condition you describe, then he or she can remove or revise the RC and request the book again. Doing it this way can open up a can of worms, though, since poorly worded RCs usually come from super-picky people who are unlikely to be happy no matter what they get and RWAP it. (From my experience.)
