I used to enjoy this author's books, but lately they've become ridiculously shallow and trite. This one is absolutely the worst so far. I read far more of this book than I should have (150 pages), initially thinking I was just in a mood, later hoping against hope that Caskie would redeem herself and offer up a little emotion between the pages. I shouldn't have wasted my time.
- Book #2 of the "Royle Sisters" trilogy. This is Anne's story. Not quite as believable or realistic as Book #1, but still an enjoyable read.
- Book #3, "How to Propose to a Prince," Elizabeth's story will conclude the series as well as answer the question: are the Royle sisters in fact 'royalty' or not?
