Hello, PBS sent me an email letting me know that a book sent to me last month was recorded as "delivered" by the Post Office on 12/28/12. Sadly, it wasn't delivered to my house.... I went to the Post Office today and they told me to come back with the DC number...I am clueless on how to find it. Thanks! |

If the book is still on your My Account page, then it should have a green check mark. The details button will show you the DC. |

Lisa, that same thing happened to me last month. I got the automated email saying a book was marked as delivered and it wasn't. I then looked at the details of the book. The book was delivered to the sender's house either by mistake or perhaps for some other reason. It was then sent to me and delivered a few days later. Look at the details on your book to see if it says it was delivered to your address or back to the sender. |

LOL...I received the book today with "Delivered to wrong address" written on it. Our address is on 10th Street, and we're always getting mail for for the same house number, but from 9th Street, or 12th Street, etc. I suppose these people get some of our mail, too. I wonder if talking to the mailman or postmaster would do any good. |

I once got a book for several blocks away. Not a nearby number, not a nearby street. I think the mail carrier just saw the PBS wrapper and automatically delivered it to me. If it had wrong address written on it, then I bet the mail carrier noticed it when they had to carry it the second time. I hope it was a heavy hardback so they were sure to notice it. |
