I'm sure I saw the answer to this sometime ago, but I can't remember! I'd like to see how many copies of the books on my shelf are out there in the system. Any easy way to tell? Thanks! |

Add the book to your reminder list. You can see on that list how many copies are available. |

Click on the book on your bookshelf and it will open a page with the information about that book. Then, click the Reminder button which adds it to your reminder list. Then when you go look at your reminder list it will show how many copies of that book are available. It can be kind of tedious to do all that clicking, but I don't know of an easier way. |

aha! they beat me to it :) yep - adding a book to your reminder list shows you how many copies are currently in the system. |

Thanks everyone! That did the trick! |

There's no way to see what place in line you are though. Also someone may order it directly from your shelf. |

Wow, 116 copies of the book I posted the other day. Guess that one's not going anywhere for a while. :) |

Dont be so sure. Ive had books with 2 copies listed sit on my shelf forever and some with a bunch of copies listed that were ordered pretty quickly. Its pretty much a toss up. |

Sometimes people order directly from your shelf which bypasses the fifo system. I have a book in my reminder list that has 300+ copies in the system. Needless to say, I don't feel any sort of pressure to order it quickly. |

Instead of revising the Wish List system (which works pretty good) I really wish the next "tweak" would be to allow you to see this information from your Bookshelf.
