I just scanned a bunch of my books without images.  I want to make sure that they were the right file size and that they are all ok.  How do I know that the submission went through ok (it says they were uploaded) and that the books will get their pictures?  How long does it take for the pictures to come up?

I just learned how to crop resize etc.  The volunteers who approve and upload have been wonderful.  Sometimes the pictures are there within a few hours, sometimes by the next day.  If there is a problem they will usually PM so you'll know what the issue is.

depending on how many have been uploaded, it usually takes at the most 24 hours for it to be approved.

If there is something wrong with the image, the approver will usually let you know especially if it is something like wrong format, you didn't crop, etc.  even as a part of the image team I've gotten emails that something was wrong with the image (maybe I didn't save after a crop, etc)

the last time the queue was cleared out was 12/30 at 2:55am....so they are still working on what is there

One way you can find out if it's in the system waiting to be put up is to try to post it again.  If it's in the system you'll get a message something like, 'This has not been posted as another copy is in the system waiting."  (Those aren't the exact words, but it will indicate that they're working on uploading your pix.  Pat

Usually the pictures I post are up in a day or two.
