Is there a time limit between printing and actually mailing a package with Custom DC? I have a box of Media Mail to send to my daughter. I boxed it all up and printed the label on Sunday night, intending to mail it early in the week. Unfortunately, some bad tuna I ate on Sunday night has me sticking close to the bathroom; it's unlikely I'll be able to mail it much before next week. Note that this is not a PBS shipment. Take it to the window and ask them to round date it. Explain what happened. Hope you are feeling better! |

The PO window will put a zero postage new date sticker on it to show the actual mail date. Just ask them for it. |

Custom DC does not have any postage printed on it, just the tracking bar code, so no there isn't technically a time limit though I wouldn't try it 6 months later. |

I'd say don't complain when you observe other postal delivery times taking longer then expected as possibly those mailers had bad tuna with a printed start the clock time in the web before they could actually deliver the parcel into the system to track actual delivery performance. I guess you see things do happen - tuna - Ughhh, so maybe there are reasons to not be so critical of everything. |

DC/Tracking only is not dated and is good to mail. Tracking with printed postage is dated and would need a zero strip (to refresh postage) if not mailed on the label date. |
