Short of it, I ordered a book, sender told me it's a Book Club Edition. I decided to pass as I am only interested in regular hardcover. Is there a way to see if someone else has this same book in hardcover? Cause If I order it again, its just going to be from the same guy right? I did a search on this, and I could not find a answer. Thanks for any input!

You  could set up an RC saying you don't want book club editions.  The member will decline and you'll roll over to the next in the FIFO line.  Another way would be to go to the Box of Books front page and search for what you want ; it will list boxers with the book you want.  You can then go to one of their shelves and order it.

Good Luck getting the book you want!

Are the ISBN's different? If so you could look it up that way.

Or post in the book bazzar maybe.

The ISBNs for book club editions are often the same as for the trade editions.

You can look under the Author's name and see if that book is listed more than one way.   I've done this a few times and found a hardback with a different ISBN.   Doesn't hurt to try.
