hello i have a few old hardy boy books (so old (I think some were printed in 1928) they don't have ISBN numbers

but checking here i see the same title has been reprinted so should i say they are the same ? or are they "different"

so I'm not sure how to post these books..so I post with no ISBN but then i get confused how to measure the book,,,

using that route...

You must use the Post Without an ISBN screen for these books. You can measure them with any ruler.

Like Cathy said, each copy of a pre-ISBN book gets its own listing - you post it without an ISBN.

The measurement info is just to esitmate postage - if it's not perfect, it's no great shakes.

My son has been collecting the Hardy Boys series and has books ranging from the 30's to the present. He has gotten several duplicates and those all seem to be the same size. So you should be able to get the dimensions and weight off of Amazon. No ruler needed.;)

Be sure to include a cover image and description of your book. Since non-ISBN books are not in the mainstream with the FIFO system, you will be at a disadvantage, so you want to make sure your copy gets noticed when people look up the book by title. And if there are no other copies (more recent or same year issues)  use the tag system to note to searchers that "Also available as ISBN-xxxxx" inserting the assigned non-ISBN number that PBS gives your book.
