For some odd reason, I really enjoy proofreading documents. I know, it's a strange quirk of mine. :)

Anyway, I would really like to get into the field of proofreading/copy editing books, magazines, etc. Can anyone here give me any advice or resources?

There is a topic near the end of the Writers Forums "looking for a project to edit".. the poster is someone who was doing a course where they learned the skills you are asking about :)

I submitted a short story of mine and one of the class edited it for me :)
