I just received back part of a book I sent.  It was obviously damaged by the post office.  How do I cancel it so that the member who ordered it can get their point back and re-order it?  I did not use PBS postage so I do not have the point for the book yet so I don't want to refund points I don't have and will never get. Yes I know that it will time out but it seems rude to make them wait when I already know that the whole book is never going to get there.

Thanks

You'll need to send the PBS Team a note and explain what happened. They are the only ones who can cancel the order at this point. Once they cancel it, the requestor will get their credit back, and then they can re-order.

Go down to the bottom right corner of any page, and under "company" click on "contact us."  Use the Feedback option there.  As Jennifer said, the Team will cancel it for you.  The other option is to allow it to go "lost" (26 days after it was marked mailed -- or 35 days if it's traveling outside the contiguous United States) and letting the requestor get her credit back that way, but I agree that it's better to contact the PBS Team so she doesn't have to wait so long.
