There is a new book coming out soon and I want to request it now so that I will be in a good position to receive it when it becomes available.  Help

If you can find the ISBN then search for it here at PBS. If it's not here yet then the search will often trigger the system to include it. Then you can put it on your WL.

When you search, use the 13 digit ISBN without any dashes or spaces. I will search about every half hour until the system is triggered to add the book. This happens very quickly if the book is already listed on Amazon. Much slower if it is only on the publisher's site.

Please do not manually add future releases. Please use the repeated search. When books are entered with slight changes in the author, such as an initial or extra period, the books may not become linked on the author's page. This means that they may not link on the different versions option. While we can edit the author or title, getting the links to trigger is very difficult.

You cannot request books that are not posted in the system or that are not yet in print. You can only add them to your wish list. The suggestions made for forcing the system to add books not already in its database are good, but you can't actually request the books until they have been posted by a member.
