I dont have a solid figure on how often I do them probably 5-6 times a year. My most creative was probably my most recent. 4 for 1 for 24 hours. I usually do 2 for 1 on single orders 3 for 1 on bulk meaning order just one book get one freebie but order 2 or more and you get a 3 for 1 deal.

I do it whenever I get sick of too many books sitting on my shelf for too long or when I get into a panic about my credits getting too low.  I've never had to buy a credit and I never want to have to.

I do it when I'm feeling overrun.  I basically do boxes of like genre books about once a year, though it can take me a while to get them all together, so it stretches out.

What's with all the sale questions here & on SwapaCD?  What are you looking for/hoping for/trying to determine?

I usually run a deal when I feel I have to de-clutter and downsize my allotment of books.  I donate a heck of alot of books to the library also.  Probably hundreds.  When things get stagnant in the deal area I usually box the books up and head off to the library.  Always see some of my donations at the next FOL sale.

Usually when I haven't had any orders come in for a while and I know I'll have time to field PMs and box books up.  Although now I've decided to be a boxer. The last "sale" I had wasn't really worth the trouble.  I did 3 for 1 plus an unpostable freebie. I got like 5 orders but answering all the PM's and boxing the books up really wasn't worth the 5 credits.  Especially since I didn't really need the credits. That's when I decided to become a boxer.

When my bookshelves get so full I have no more room.
