I'm trying to find some nice blank journal type books, but I can't seem to figure out which category to browse or what "keyword" to use in the search. I tried "blank books" "journals" and the like, but get all sorts of books. Can anyone clue me in as to how best to search or browse for these? Thanks!

Although there may be some here, blank books are not allowable under the guidelines:

Not allowed:

  • Anything that is not a book (this includes calendars, coloring books, blank journals)

Per PBS guidelines, Blank Books are not postable (and do not qualify for Media Mail).  You may find a connection in one of the discussion forums tho, good luck!

Post in the Bazaar that you're looking for blank journals. They may not be postable, but someone might be willing to send you one anyway.

I agree with whoever above said to make a post in the RAOK forums.  There may be people who have blank journals just lying around that they would be happy to send you for free.  The RAOK forum is great.

Gosh, I never knew there was a rule about blank journals (I always figured they were books, with ISBN numbers and everything!).  I did manage to find a few posted but I'll look into the RAOK forum (took me a couple of minutes to figure out what that was as well -- you'd think that, having been a member here since 2006, I'd have known these things!

Barbara, isn't it amazing that after all this time, we can still find things in the HC that we didn't know were there!?!?! I found one the other day, and was just amazed that I'd never heard of that happening or that being the result. I try and try to keep up with it all, but it just boggles the minds of new members to try and remember it all, when people who have belonged as long as you and I are still finding rules that are not new, we just haven't seen them yet!
