I wanted to see the profile of a user that shows how many books they list, how many are on their wishlist, etc.  I can't seem to find that for this specific user.  I only know them with their first name and last initial. I know their member code (the gibberish letters and numbers).

If they haven't set up a public profile, can I still see those statistics?

The reason I ask is they sent me a book, but I never got it (it's been a month).  I was thinking if they are new / don't ahve many points, I'd give them a point - I feel bad they are out the postage and book and nothing to show for it.  I have 33 points, which for me right now is more than I need.  So I'd send it to them?

thanks

No, you cannot see another member's information if they're choosing to keep it private -- just like we cannot see yours.

You can find them in your Transaction Archive if the transaction has been marked lost. Look in there for the book and it should have the member's username there. If they do not have a profile or have chosen to keep those stats private, you still will not be able to see those numbers, but you would be able to PM them or click into their account and maybe find a Give Credits button. I'd wait a little bit though, the book could still show and if it does you'd need to mark it received and they'd get 2 credits.

Amount of member information available depends on their privacy settings.  Some members close their account up tight thinking to avoid some bad situation, and forget they have also closed the door on good stuff too!

Just an FYI.  Do you realize you are asking for information that apparently you are unwilling to display yourself?  Maybe you  are not aware that you have your profile marked private.
