I read this book after being laid off and it was such a God-send. You have to go through something like that before you can really relate to the hurt, embarrassment, and the sense of loss. The book is uplifting while providing an interesting perspective on the Starbucks work experience. Frankly, it sounds terrific. I have recommended this book to many people since reading it and have ordered copies for friends.

I did not like this book at all. It just felt like a windbag being a name dropper. Not worth the paper it was printed on or the time it took to read it!

This was a quick read. A little disappointing after all the hype though but still enjoyable.
