A cute story about a woman trying to seek revenge (even though she would never call it that) on the woman that stole the love of her life out from under her in high school and how does she go about it? By becoming their nanny 10 years later!!

This was my first Liz Ireland book and I really love the way that she writes. If you enjoy chick lit then this is a sure bet for you! The only things that I didn't REALLY LOVE about this book were the title because it gives away a lot and the ending because I felt it was like an alternative ending on a DVD, like Ireland was trying to hard not to be predictable... I guess that I just wanted something else to happen that didn't, but none the less it was a GREAT BOOK!! A very fast read.

If you ever lost a boyfriend and vowed to get him back, this book is for you. It's also satisfying insofar as the heroine realizes a lot about herself; you can se her growning emotionally throughout the book. A satifying read.

There is nothing like going to work as domestic help for the girl who you threw poo on at her 5th birthday party..and then in high school she stole your boyfriend and married him. Alson does this..she becomes a nanny for Pepper..and falls in love with her daughter, August. What Alson then realizes is, she may have loved Spence in high school..but does she 10 years later??

I am soooooo glad that I found this book. I had been getting bored by a lot of books I'd been trying to read and I was browsing the site and found this book. I had never heard of this author or heard of the book, but I said what the heck and ordered it. It was a great read! I hate books that are sooo slow, I have ADD so if it takes me forever to get into a book I give up. This book captured my attention from the beginning. It isn't a pulitzer prize winning book, but it is fantastic chic lit! You will really feel for the heroine of this book and you will won't to throw Pepper off a cliff. If you like chic lit without all the heavy petting and sex, you'll love this book. Personally, I always skip over sex scenes anyway, I mean really there should be a genre called soft porn in the women's section!

Couldn't related to the lead character and didn't care for any of the other characters.
