I have only requested one book so far at PBS because I am fairly new here.  It still says the same thing it did as soon as I requested it.  It says it will be mailed by 4/11/2009 by 11 pm.  Does this mean that it has not been mailed yet?  And how long do people have to mail things?  Thanks!  Kim S.

The book will move to the Enroute to Me tab once it has been marked mailed.

Either that is a typo or the system has a glitch because there is no way someone could have chosen 4/11 as a mail date. When they chose the I can Mail Later button (which is the only time you will get he will be mailed by date) they can select to mail it up to 5 days later, with two additional to mark it mailed. The latest mail by date you should see at this point is 4/6.

Two books I accepted requests for this morning say I will mail by 4/6 and that I must mark them as mailed by 4/8. The longest anyone should be taking to mail a book, without talking to you first, is that 7 day date.

If they don't mark it mailed by 11pm on 4/3 (sender's time) then it'll request the book from the next person who has it or it'll go back on your WL.

The system gives 5 days for a sender to accept a book request and then up to 5days to mail it out plus 2 days after that to mark it mailed.
