I have a really popular book I want to post, but it has very minor water damage. Should I do it as an unpostable? If so, how does that work? Do I still get a credit?

Details on how this works would be greatly appreciated!

In the Book Bazaar there is a thread for unpostable wishlisted books. You can add to that thread and describe the condition of the book. Some ask for a credit and others send it free with an order from their shelf. You can decide which works for you. http://www.paperbackswap.com/forum/topic.php?t=117610

If it isn't a WL book-then I'd offer it as a freebie with an order from your shelf.  People aren't likely to pay a credit for a unpostable that they can just order from another member.

When I have an unpostable WL book that I'd like to get a credit for-I usually offer it in the WL thread that's going in whatever genre board the book fits.  Or I start my own thread in the BB. Last time I checked that unpostable thread it had been going for like 3 years and was hundreds of pages long.

Well said Rebecca!   There are also wishlist threads for Romance & Paranormal genre (& probably others), where unpostable wishlist books can be posted for credit or part of a deal.   Some members also have success listing unpostables in their siggy line.
