I order this book for deplpyed troops and people I know who are struggling with depression. It explains step by step Biblically what depression is , does and the signs leading to depression. I originally read this book when I went to a military doctor I had never visited before with very painful neckaches that caused my neck to "freeze" up and for me to dry heave because of the pain. He informed me I was depressed over the stress of my job. After nearly 3 months of being sick from adjusting to Zoloft and the total zombie effect but without relief of my neck pain I read this book to find out I was not depressed! I read a chapter a day and reread it to soak it all up. I threw the medicine away within days. I recommend this book to anyone who has or is suffering from depression. You might not like what God has to say on the subject but it will help you to recognize the symptoms and how to change unless chaos is comfortable.
