No, the book is yours to keep, list, whatever.  It's not really a "swap."

As long as you have credits, you can order another book.

Check out the Help Center (button at the top of this page).  Also, Patty just put together a nice summary in this forum, under subject: 'Discouraged PBS Swapper' that you might find helpful.

Welcome to PBS!

1. You post books that you no longer want to your bookshelf. When people request them, you pay the postage to mail them out. In return, you get a "credit".

2. You can use your credits to order books, and those senders will pay the postage to mail them to you.

Paperback and hardcover books cost 1 credit. Audio books cost 2 credits.

Books are yours to keep, and you will neither be returning the ones you order, or getting back the ones you mail out.

And, that's it in a nutshell.

Yes, If you don't want it for your keeper shelf you can add it to your book shelf , someone else could order it.

Be very clear, you do not get your books back.  You get a credit for another book.

The PBS "help docs" cover, quite thoroughly, how PBS works.  Take the time to read the help docs, they are very extensive and will answer nearly any question you may think of.  There are also a couple of tutorials that explain how PBS works.

I say this, what I wrote above, because you have been a member a full month and still don't understand the basic premise of this site and how it functions.
