Helpful Score: 1
This is a nice story book of 6 Genesis stories, very simplified. The wording is simple enough that a child will understand what you are reading, without it sounding babyish. Most stories have a page of text on the left with a small illustration and a large illustration filling the entire right side page. The pictures are realistic, not cartoonish, so the people look like real people.
The contents are:
How the World Began (creation)
Adam and Eve (the fall)
Noah Builds an Ark (up to the rain starting)
Noah and the Flood (the flood and rainbow)
Jacob's Ladder (Jacob's dream)
Moses in the Bulrushes (some background, then the princess finding Moses)
