This is a simple roadmap to getting that script that's been in your heart down on paper. King's book is like having a friend at your side for a few weeks saying encouraging words.

Great book to get you moving in the right direction. Do not expect a complete, polished product after 21 days but you'll be well on your way. It does require a lot of discipline for those 21 days but it is worth it.

Wow, three wishes outstanding for this 1988 book. The copy I ran across includes two phone numbers in pencil on the flyleaf--hopefully they are of agents that will help the budding career of whoever I mail the book to.
The 'Inner Movie Method' is revealed and there also much practical advice. Writing your movie in 21 days has two steps: Write your first draft from your heart and then rewrite the draft from your head. Also how to pay the rent while paying your dues, a writing partner? getting along with your family are outer obstacles. Inner obstacles: there is no such thing as writer's block asserts the author.
