A lady PMed me asking for a deal, and I PMed her back with an alternative deal. She PMed me back accepting the deal and ordered a second box as per my request. I printed the wrapper for the two books she ordered, wrapped the books last night and mailed them today. I clicked on the "Books Have Been Mailed " button. I just checked my transactions page and the two books she ordered are now showing as canceled.

According to help, only you can cancel an order after printing the label. The only exception to this is if the order timed out, due to a delay in marking the book mailed. In that case, the order would have rolled over to two new people. And you would need to PM the requestor to both cancel the new orders and to mark your books as received (when they are) in her transaction archive. If this is not the case, then you have a glitch. |

If Emily's scenerio is not the case, send a message to the PBS team (via the Contact link at the bottom of the page) and they can look and see what happened. |

Are the books in your Books I've Mailed Tab? If they are you are fine, the requester may have ordered, cancelled, then ordered again without you ever seeing the first requests and cancels because they fell in the 1hrs buyer remorse. If they are not in your Books I've Mailed tab, send in Feedback. They can determine if the system glitched or if your aim was off and you hit the cancel instead of mailed button (I've almost done this a few times, so I know it could happen without us realizing it). I would also suggest PMing the requester to stop any new offers if possible. I don't think he/she wants to lose the deal either. Last Edited on: 10/19/09 11:08 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |
