If you also printed e-DC on PBS, then you can use that number on the USPS website. However, if you didn't use e-DC, and you no longer have the receipt from the USPS, I think that you're pretty much out of luck. I don't know if the USPS branch that sold your husband USPS Tracking for 90¢ has the ability to go back to that specific transaction or not... Perhaps one of the PBS members who works for the USPS and hangs here will chime in on that aspect. My understanding is that the only way to track anything was via the Tracking (or what used to be called Delivery Confirmation) Number; no number/no tracking.

Bertie, depends on several variables.  Such as, did you print PBS e-DC on the wrappers, and did USPS cover them with counter tracking.  If you printed e-DC and it didn't get covered up, the info could be available at USPS.com.  Otherwise, you will need the PO receipt to track your package...and that's the big downer to having the PO add a different barcode (it's not available on the member homepage).  I'm sucky at keeping track of those things.

Regarding PBS Tracking, we're kind of waiting to see how much is fixed.  The PBS d-DC barcodes are definately working, IF your counter staff knows the new procedure for scanning them properly (directions are printed in the other thread).  We've very recently started seeing the tracking info being pulled into the PBS system (under your 'details' button).  So far it's still hit and miss, but encouraging signs of improvement!  I mailed 4 Media Mail Thursday and half received Credit Assurance and are showing scans here at PBS (have to check the other two at USPS.com).  Mailed 2 more today, and I'm until morning to see how the late night info download goes.

Hope your package is marked received soon.
