...that I am really in the mood for, but I cannot remember the title or author. Does this ring any bells with any of you: all I remember is that it is a historical, Regency period I think, heroine is engaged to perfect handsome, well-adjusted young rich guy but falls for his dark, moody, unhappy (older?) brother. Problems ensue. Now, I know many books have had this plotline, but I think this one is relatively recent (last year or so), and I think I got it somewhere other than here because I have gone through my transaction archive and can't find it. Before you ask, I do a terrible job of remembering to put books in my TBR list here, and now I'm paying the price :( So, it's a needle/haystack kind of thing, but if you have any guesses I'd love to know them. Thanks, Katrina

Is it The Saint by Madeline Hunter? I haven't read that one yet but I was looking at it today and put it on my RL. Heroine is an American heiress who wants to be an opera singer. Hero is an English Lord and her guardian and wants her to marry his younger brother because they need her inheritance. Last Edited on: 2/23/08 3:00 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |
