I was expecting a book with some automotive advice. So I was disappointed when I got the book. On the other hand it had some intellegent and thought provoking rants and raves. I enjoyed learning more of the click and clack background. T They thought a self help garage for consumers would be the wave of the future, so they started one and still run a garage. Although it was head to tell how much self help they provide now. he last chapter was talking about how to teach more effectively.

While the book did not meet my expections (it did not talk about car repair) it was a thought provoking book.

Classic Click and Clack. If you like NPR's CarTalk, you'll get a kick out of hearing their rants without the car repair info.

My opinion of the Car Talk guys remains very high, but the title says it all--they really do quite a bit of ranting in this book. For the Car Talk lover only.
