This is a great paranormal romance. It is a keeper, for me. I find myself rereading certain sections. Emma is half Valkyrie/half Vampire, raised in a Valkyrie coven, sheltered. She grows up insecure about herself, among her sisters. Then she encounters Laclain, her lifemate, who wants to hate her because she's Vampire. A great read.

I did like the book..I wasn't too crazy about the female lead.I found the lead lady to be a bit weak and lackluster. Nonetheless, I did enjoy the book.I almost didn't give the series a chance, but glad I changed my mind.

Great paranormal read, loved the characters, looking forward to the next book in the series. Werewolves, vampires, Valkyrie and more what's not to like.

This was a pretty good read. I really liked Lachlain, but was annoyed by Emma's stubbornness. They both made mistakes, but I liked how everything was resolved. Her aunt's really irritated me though. They were very grating and screechy. I'm looking forward to reading the next one.
