A quite nice and informative book, well illustrated.
It is part of a series of 12 books about different tribes, and seems well made despite being printed in Italy. The longhouses are well described, as are beliefs, 'lifeways,; and 'new ways.' The chapter about the Huron today is nice. Glossary, index, and further reading included.
Unfortunately, it is brand new, although on the shelf since 11 August 2007.
I am at a branch library and a discard copy (ex-library, with usual markings, otherwise Fine) is on offer for two bits. It will be put back on the shelf for someone else because not one PBS comrade has wished for it. How sad!
