This was an amazingly enjoyable read! I'm not a fan of this stuff, but the horse on the cover convinced me to read it. Good rainy-day reading for when the heavier, more realistic stuff just won't sit well in your stomach.

I normal dislike romance novels, but fell madly in love with this one.

What drew me to it was the small historical details that were not only fitting but very well placed, my personal favorite being the use of trencher bread on wooden plates.

The Story sets up a Novice Nun who dosen't fit in the nunnery do to her need to "improve" things. She is sent out to judge a man's worth as a husband and ends up falling in love with him. This is about the first half of the book, I will leave the other half to your delightful discovery. The Man in queastion is a low-level nobility who (of course) has a good heart under neight his gruff exterior and needs someone to get his home right. Most of the sotry takes place on his lands that have fallen under a curse.

There are sterotypical notes in this book, but enough detail and good writing that you don't midn them. if you like Romances, Historical fiction or just some really fun fluffy reading I high recomend this book to you!
