Standard but serviceable serial-killer thriller. The villain is well realized and boldly painted, just not too much thinking needs to be done for this one. A very clean, easy summer read.

Excellent read, it took my two days to finish this book. It is a great thriller with all the twist's and turns you want in a book. It kept me guessing to the very end. The plot line is very real and I kept getting drawn into the crime life of Chicago, the character's are wrote with a complex aire about them, you see both the past and the present in each person. The book its self is very well written with a flow that keeps you going and going to the end!

Ivy Dunlap thought that she had moved on... a new identity, a new home, a new life. That all changes with a phone call telling her that the serial killer who targets single mothers and their babies, called "The Madonna Murderer", is back.

Great mystery that will leave you guessing to the identity of the killer. Very suspenseful!

Started off fair, but moves very slow, author has to have background on every character and their mother and it just gets tiresome reading all that while waiting for the suspense to move forward, I skipped 150 pages at one point and didn't miss a thing!
