This has got to be the worst book I have ever read.
If you like an overbearing and abusive (emotionally, not physically) man, and a woman that is too afraid (or stupid) to stand up for herself - you will love the three stories in this book.
If you are like me, and want a strong man with a woman beside him, not walking meakly a few feet behind him, then the only "warmth" you will get from this book is if you use it for kindling in your fireplace.
Joan Hohl should stick to Historical Novels and not write about todays time. These three stories might be readable if cavemen come back into vogue.

Three stories of women and the men they marry... maybe.
