I added a book to my bookshelf that had no ISBN.  I scanned the cover and posted the image at the time I listed the book, because I believe I read in the forums that you cannot change an image on a book that has a PBS-assigned ISBN. 

Well, my book posted, but the cover image is not displayed.  I thought that perhaps the scanned image was perhaps too large, so I edited it to make certain it was within posting limits, and then re-posted the book as a new listing (deleting the other one that was already on my bookshelf.)

This time I -know- the image wasn't too large.  Why isn't it showing up?  It'll be hard enough for people to find my book since it doesn't have an ISBN, so I want them to be able to see it when they browse my bookshelf, so they may want to order it then.  A book with no pic and no ISBN will just sit on my shelf forever, unloved and unclaimed.  A picture may be the selling point that induces someone to order it.

Robin, when you submit a book cover image, it sometimes can take a couple days to show up.  The image people do their best to be prompt, but I know they sometimes get backlogged.  If it's not there in a few days, you might PM one of the volunteers and ask about it.  :)

Did you submit the image using the Upload Book Cover link?  Is the image straight, clear and cropped so nothing but the cover shows?

Those are two of the most common reason images don't get posted into the database either using the wrong link to post, or having an uncropped image. 

How long ago was the image submitted?  It can take several days to get images posted sometimes, since we're unpaid volunteer labor and can only do approvals when we have the free time. :)

If it's Del Rey Manga Summer 2007 Previews, I don't remember seeing that image in the queue and I just completed all the images in the pipeline this morning.
