Hi!

I have a set of books that are a series of 5 books. When I posted the first book it shows that is a set. Then I tried to post the second book and it shows the same thing not the books #. So am I to send 5 books for 1 credit? That makes no sense. I want to post these books individually and get 5 crdits. How do I do that?

Jacqueline,

Here is what the Help Docs want to say about this:

How do I post my 'boxed set' of books?

If each of the books bears a unique ISBN, you can Post each as a separate entity

  • this way, you will earn a credit for each.

If the "box" holding the boxed set bears an ISBN, you can post with that number, BUT

  • this way, you will earn only ONE credit for the SET.

There is not a way to post the books individually yet require one member to take all of them and award you all of the credits for the one bulk request.

If you do post the books individually and want to send them all to one member:

  • you can start a topic in the Book Bazaar Discussion Forum to advise members that you have a boxed set.
  • Another member may be glad to learn of this and request all of the books from you using the bulk request "order more books from this member" feature.

If you're using the ISBN from the box, then switch to using the ISBNs from the books themselves. If you are saying that when you use the individual books' ISBNs, each book appears as "Book Title Here (Set of 5)", then you have a couple of options:

1) submit data edits (use the More menu on the book details page) to change the titles to just "Book Title Here", then post your books after the titles are fixed

2) post your books without an ISBN

The title on the listing has to exactly match your book, so you can't use the listing if it indicates that more than one book would be sent.

If this doesn't help, then provide the ISBNs you're trying to post so we can see what you're talking about.

You could just offer them in the genre forum, asking 1 credit each and state that you'd like to send all 5 to the same person.
