I'm looking for deal on hardback copies of Suzanne Brockmann and Christine Feehan titles, specifically Brockmann's Troubleshooters series and Feehan's Dark as well as both Sea Haven series. Some of them are wish listed and I'm not trying jump the line but instead am looking for multiple deals on the titles from the series that are currently posted. I'm also looking for some opinions. Does anybody else think we should have just one thread where people post that they've got credits for sale, rather than everybody having their own and clogging up the first page in the Bazaar?

It's basically the same deal, right? Everybody's credits are $3. What's the point of individual pitches? 

Yes, I think the majority of people (except those selling) want one thread. I think the issue would be, though, that certain people would feel there's "some advantage" over being at the top of the thread and some advantage of being the most recent thread. It's almost funny to see how people are trying to differentiate themselves, as everyone IS posting the same thing for the same price (suddenly now, it's the shouts of NO MINIMUMS or AMAZON GC and stuff). It is, after all, the BOOK bazaar. The rules are pretty strict that you can't offer anything but books in the BB, and though they've made an exception for credits, maybe that little inch has been taken too much mileage. 

Well, I put my 2¢ in the Suggestions thread in CMT as well as sent in Feedback with the Contact Us link. 

Back when I sold credits (I haven't for a long time) I liked having my own thread because I had repeat buyers. Peeps who knew that I was timely or just liked purchasing credits from me - for whatever reason. Having my own thread made it easier for those peeps to find me and my credits.

Instead of one thread for credit sales in the Book Bazaar, how about a whole separate forum for credit sales? TPTB could use an old, defunct forum like Technology & Science (or another rarely used forum) and could convert it into a Credits For Sale forum. That way, everyone could still have their own personal thread, bump it as needed or wanted and peeps buying credits from fave sellers could easily find those sellers.

That sounds like a fine idea, to me, Jo, one I hadn't even considered.

I think separate forum is a great idea. 

Those buying will know where all the offers are without having to wade through all the "nonsense" book deals being offered!

Mrs.Grim,  I have been saying  there should be 2 seperate forums for while now. , nobody seems to be doing anything about it. .  One for book deals and another for credit sales.  I come on here to look for deals and you have to wade through almost a whole page of credits sales. Its made it not worth it anymore to look.

When I first joined there was an ongoing thread for people who are always offering deals , it was nice .If they wont  get rid of the credit sales here I wish they would let us do that again.. If would be a thread ,letiing people know what deals you are offering...anyone could add to it. .Like a thread for permenent deals.

I've suggested a separate forum before and sent feedback to TPTB, but so far nothing has come of it.

I don't object to people 'pitching' their credits, but sure do hate going through more 'have credits for sale'  than 'book deals', etc.

Maybe if more people would suggest it to TPTB something might come of it.   Pat

I think that, probably, our only recourse here is a massive Feedback campaign. Even if everybody sends in a different idea, at least, TPTB would know that lots of people think changes should be made. Personally, I vote for the Credit Bazaar separate from the Book Bazaar.
