I just got done reading An Unfinished Life by Mark Spragg and I started reading A Painted House by John Grisham. I am really enjoying these books. My question is can you give me some ideas for some books and authors who write stories like this? I usually read sci-fi books and this is a new road for me.

Wendall,

What I do when I've discovered a new author (to me) I click on the title of the book I like.  That takes you to the synopsis of the book you like. Below that and on the left side are books and authors similar to the one you read and liked.  That gives you a start to click up the synopsis of each of those.

Happy hunting...Sandy

Sandy wrote exactly what I wanted to say. Another suggestion is to take a look at Oprah's reading list: http://www.oprah.com/book-list/Oprahs-Book-Club-The-Complete-List.

My local librarians are also really good at making suggestions.

Enjoy!

PBS has a Book Browser under SEARCH.  It might help you.
