Any recommendations besides these below for my daughter . . . or for me as a soon-to-be-grandmother from you folks?

Already have:  What to Expect When You're Expecting, La Leche League's Book on Breastfeeding, Happiest Baby on the Block, The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy, and 365 Things Every New Mom Should Know.

PM me with any suggestions, please; much appreciated!

Paula

Bon Appetit Baby by Elaine Moran -- good breastfeeding info, not as intimiditing as La Leche Leage titles

Mommy Made and Daddy Too by Kimmel??   -- about making your own baby food

Any title from William Sears, MD

Sorry, I don't actually have any of these on my bookshelf but they are great titles.

Best wishes!

I also liked Your Pregnancy Week by Week (yes, I have a nice copy on my bookshelf). Another book I liked was Touchpoints by T. Berry Brazelton (I may need to but that one on my bookshelf.) If your daughter loves books as much as you do, have a book baby shower. Ask everyone to bring a favorite children's book. I had one for my oldest child and I still treasure those books. Everyone enjoyed showing off the special book they loved and many were read to the whole crowd right then. If they need everything it might not be practical but a board book of Good Night Moon or Go Dogs Go might be a great gift for grandma to give the new parents. I am currently on my 3rd copy of Good Night Moon and 2nd copy of Go Dogs Go. We are on our 4th copy of Jamberry. Congratulation to your whole family. Jane
