We are in the process of clearing out my father-in-law's house.  He has this set of hardcover books called the Illustrated Library of Nature which is in good condition except it comes from a smoking home.  The volumes deal with topics such as animal traits,  insects,  birds and plants.  There are also a range of life topics such as ocean, forest, cave and desert.  The books are older, copyrighted 1971 but have color and black/white photos.  If you are interested, please send me an email.
