I have 8 books on my bookshelf without images. Many are children's books in near perfect condition that would be great for Christmas, but I know without a cover picture them getting ordered is near zero. I've tried doing the images but my computer here at work doesn't seem to be cooperating, is there anyone part of the image group that could help me out with this?

I'm on the image team....I'll look at your shelf and see if I can find the images and upload them.  If you have them images on your computer you need to use the Upload Book Covers at the bottom of each page.  You input the ISBN and then browse your computer for the image and then select it and click upload at the bottom.

Becki, once an image is linked to a certain ISBN then it will always be in the database.  So if you take a book off your shelf and then add it later, no worries about adding the image again. 

You do know that you can put certain books on hold on your shelf right?  this way you don't have to take it off especially if it is a book that you had to add manually.  Just a heads up in case you weren't aware of that feature!

I've been told that for an image to really be submitted that you have to use the bottom of the screen link because going into the description doesn't always work (some sort of glitch)

I know with The Velveteen Rabbit that I just got a cover from that book, so it probably won't match but the others should (or be very close).  but that isn't a requirement that the exact cover match your specific book

Becki, if you put an individual book on hold and then take it off, my understanding is that you go to the back of the line.  Only when your whole shelf is on hold do you keep your place in mind.

My thought was more to help you from having to relist the book!

You might want to take a look at ISBN 0974084735 for The Velveteen Rabbit and relist the book if it's a match. Edit: This wasn't a match, but I was basing the research on the 2003 publication date as listed. Thanks for letting me know covers do not have to match.

I need my IMAGE ELVES again. Just posted More Bitter Then Death and it has no cover photo. I did do the edit, putting in all the correct info and telling about the storyline.(Hasn't updated yet). So PLEASE whenever someone has the time.......................
