Super quick question: When I'm writting a forum post, how do I insert an image? (Not talking about my forum signature; talking about putting an image in the reply you type in response to someone else.) Feel silly asking becuase I've done it before. A quick search of the Help Docs didn't turn up the answer... unless you know the direct link? Last Edited on: 12/18/11 9:20 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

The image needs to be on a web page. (If you have an image of your own you want to post, you can upload it to a free site like Photobucket.com first.) Then most Firefox users find it easiest to open two windows -- one window with the image and another window with the forum post. Click on the image and drag it into the post. Most IE users find the copy and paste works best. Last Edited on: 12/19/11 9:25 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

Patty, thanks for the directions. I'm using Firefox, and as you said it worked to have two windows open & drag the image to the reply box. When I did copy and paste using Firefox, the image showed up for me when I pasted it in the reply box, but disappeared

Thanks for the clarity. I was starting to drive myself nuts by trying to copy + paste in firefox. Click + drag. All better now. Last Edited on: 12/30/11 8:45 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |
