Plot driven traditional regency, in which our 19 year old heroine, fresh out of deb school, is screwed over by fate and coincidence so many times that my belief collapsed. Has interesting set piece at the Ascot races just before Waterloo, where Prinny appears. One of Heath's lesser works. Nice classic Allan Kass cover.
