One of my daughters is graduating this spring and I'm looking for a Christian song to play on a DVD presentation. I need a song to play as pictures of her "through the years" slide by. Any suggestions ??

I already know about "Friends Forever" and I don't want to use that one.

Thanks,

Melissa

My girls really like Cinderella by Steven Curtis Chapman.  I don't know if it suits your situation or not.  But, I thought I would mention it.  Carrie

Carrie I thought of the same one last night but didn't post it b/c I thought maybe it was more for a wedding. Maybe I"m not so far off after all.

It's not a Christian song but one of the ones used at my DD graduation was Johnny Cash's song, "I've Been Everywhere Man" and had lots of field trip photos included in the montage. It was so fun.

I'll try to think of some of the others that were used and post again.

Here are a few but I'll warn you, they're tear jerkers.  (all links are youtube)

Find Your WIngs - Mark Harris http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnA1XhEcROA&feature=related

How to Say Goodbye - Michael W. Smith http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fk5K-eTTkfM&feature=related

Then They Do - Trace Adkins http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-SAP8BFNkQ

I can't post any more right now, I'm running out of tissues.

Hey there, hope you don't mind, but I thought I'd throw in a couple more songs into the mix!

Fingerprints of God - Steve Curtis Chapman

Pooh Corner - Kenny Loggins ( a friend of mine used this for her daughter's grad. video, I hadn't thought of it but it fit well)

Picture This - Jim Brickman (There is not any words, but it has beautiful music)

And then another one used at another friends graduation was

Everyday Superhero - Smashmouth. but this isn't a slow ballad

Hope that gives you more ideas!  Have fun!!!

I thought of a great one!  It is called a friend like U by Geoff Moore.  It is from1992.  My hubby used it for a picture presentation for his college graduation and everyone loved it and wanted a copy of the song.  He sings about Batman and Robin, Laurel and Hardy, Snoopy and Charlie,  friends through thick and thin....  Maybe it's a little dated?  But I think most people know who those famous pairs are.  Check it out.  Carrie

Thanks for all the song suggestions. I've listened to them.  Find your wings I used with my oldest dd several years ago. The cinderella song just doesn't fit this dd. I keep going back to you tube and listening. OH this is hard, and to think I have three more children to have to do this for in the coming years. If I had musical abilities I could write one......just don't think I have what it takes....lol
