I know there’s a thread somewhere for inaccurate reviews, but what about inaccurate book descriptions?  Not the ones members can write—the ones that are part of the system?  I found one here:

The description is for a different book altogether (Over Sea, Under Stone by Susan Cooper)

You can change the book description by going to the "edit book data" link at the bottom of this page.

Navah--

I went ahead and edited the record for the book you linked to; it will show up probably within the next week or so, when a data coordinator approves it (one of the data coordinators is currently out having surgery).

It looks like that lousy description was taken from Amazon, who has the wrong description listed.  PBS does get some book data automatically from Amazon, so it looks like that's how it got into the system.

As Lisa said, though, anyone can edit book information using that drop down link, so feel free to do so; just be aware that it isn't instantaneous, but it all goes through the approval process.

Cheers,

Catt

Thanks Catt!  I don't know why the description on Amazon is so innacurate, but I'm glad we can make it right here at least!
