Mike struggles with the fact that he's in love with his best friend Todd and decides that he'll tell him that he's gay on the fourth of July.

This is a very dated book dealing with a gay teenager. It's interesting to see how much things have changed. I didn't love it, but I read it fairly quickly. It might be good for a teenager.
