Summary:
Cia has made it through the testing and enters into the University. Now she must go through a hazing ritual to win an internship to continue at the University, or die. Even though her memory of the testing was supposed to be erased, she still remembers and she wants to expose the government secrets that she clearly remembers and sees as wrong. If she could just make it through and stay alive, maybe she could change things.

My thoughts:
This is a wild adventure. Charbonneau has a way with timing. Her pace is even, but she knows just when a twist or exciting action should happen. She leads the reader along and then makes them gasp at some horrible injustice or trial that Cia has to make it through. While Tomas is involved in this story, he takes a backseat. The romance is still growing and she desperately wants to be with him, but the political aspects take a front row seat in this story. There is a good amount of manipulation within this book along with the action. I felt like there were more thinking processes involved with Cia than in the first book. I can't wait for graduation and hope that everyone doesn't end up dead (but that would be a bit of a surprise).
